Ogilvies Creek is a smaller waterway located off the Cabramurra/Khancoban Road, approximately 74km from Khancoban. It is a stunningly beautiful little Creek that holds both Brown and Rainbow trout and it has one of only two self-sustaining Brook Trout populations on Mainland Australia. (The other is in the New England area of New South Wales).
Ogilvies is a summer only option, (subject to the closed season between June and October Long Weekends) and is situated at 1400 metres elevation, so should be treated with the utmost caution, as blizzards and freezing conditions can occur at any time of year.
