Wollondibby Creek starts it run on private land at the top of Moonbah Ridge, overlooking the Alpine Way. The creek follows the Alpine Way and eventually runs into Lake Jindabyne at Wollondibby Inlet, home to the well known Curiousity Rocks. For most of 2009 the inlet has been high and dry, due to low lake levels necessitated by the Jindabyne Dam Wall improvements, however after heavy rain the creek will again fish well. It is suitable and productive with all methods of fishing, at the Wollondibby Inlet end.
